What this notice covers

This notice explains how StowOS handles personal information collected through this website. It does not cover the StowOS application used by our customers; personal data in the application is handled under the agreement with each customer, who decides how their own customers’ data is used.

What we collect

When you request a walkthrough we collect the details you enter: your name, work email address, business name, role, the number of sites you operate, your property management system and anything you write in the message field.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and the public pages set no cookies. The customer sign-in area uses cookies that are strictly necessary to keep you signed in.

Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your details to reply to your request, arrange and prepare a walkthrough, and follow up on that conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about StowOS from businesses. We do not add you to marketing lists, and we do not sell or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

Who processes it for us

This website is hosted by Vercel, and walkthrough requests are delivered to us by email through Resend. Both act on our instructions as processors. Some of their processing may take place outside the United Kingdom, in which case it is covered by the safeguards UK data protection law requires for international transfers.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we are in conversation with you. If an enquiry does not lead to an ongoing conversation, we delete it within twelve months.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. To do any of these, reply to any email we have sent you or contact us through the walkthrough form and say what you need.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
