Working with your PMS

Keep your PMS. Put control above it.

Your property management system is good at what it was built for: keeping an accurate record of units, customers, agreements and money. StowOS does not compete with it. It reads what the PMS records and runs everything that should happen because of it.

01The boundary

A system of record and a system of work, with a clear line between them.

What the PMS holds, what StowOS adds, and what StowOS writes back

02Storman today

Built and run against Storman in a working operation.

StowOS reads leads, reservations, agreements, payments, unit types and unit states from Storman, and writes back new web leads, lead status changes and approved unit-type rates.

All outbound changes pass through a single gateway that queues, rate-limits and retries, so a busy morning or a PMS outage does not lose an update, and so StowOS never floods the PMS with requests.

Other PMS platforms are a connection, not a redesign: the rest of StowOS works from its own normalised model, whichever system the events came from.

03Adoption

Introduced in stages, so nothing that works today stops working.

  1. Stage 1

    Connect and read

StowOS connects to the PMS read-only and builds its picture of your leads, customers and units. Nothing in the PMS changes. You see Today populated from your own data.

  2. Stage 2

    Run alongside

Your team works from StowOS for the areas you choose — often enquiries first — while the PMS carries on as it does now. Rules are tuned against real days, not a demonstration.

  3. Stage 3

    Switch on writeback

Once you trust what StowOS proposes, writeback is enabled one area at a time: lead status, then approved rates. Each writeback is checked against the PMS afterwards.

04Questions operators ask

About the PMS.

See your own operation in it.

A walkthrough is a conversation, not a pitch. Bring a real week — the enquiries, the move-outs, the maintenance — and we will show you where each piece would sit in StowOS, and be straight about where it would not.
